See The Sights On 2 Wheels!
We’ll get you to the BVRT & KKRT
We live in a beautiful part of the world…. Let’s see it together… On 2 Wheels!
Our crew had such a great day on the trail riding 50kms from Yarraman to Moore yesterday. This was only possible thanks to Out There Cycling who at the end of the ride shuttled us back to our campsite at Yarraman. Such a great service and so well priced, we’ll definItely come back again!
44km from Fernvale to Esk on the very pretty Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. What an achievement for a couple of 50+ year olds. Thank you Josie and David for your encouragement, hot tips and extremely welcome lift back to our cars (with our bikes on their trailer).
For the beginner this is a great way to learn how to ride in a informative controlled environment learning at your own pace.
For those who are wanting a bit more out of their cycling then give the intermediate rides a go or for something a bit more challenging then the night rides are definitely worth the effort.
You don’t know until you give it a go.
My son had a lovely morning with Out There cycling, it was lovely to find a club that takes the time to teach a beginner rider, one on one and work on his ability to gain confident, while stopping on the way to correct technics. They stayed at his own pace and are very passionate to pass on their experience to the beginners. Thank you again, he will be definitely seeing you on the tracks soon.

Enjoy bike packing but have kids? No problem 💪🏼 be like Niall and Matilda and just take a week to ride the trail. The BVRT is a trail for all 💕 and we love getting riders out adventuring 🥰
Another rail trail and close to home too

A group of riders from PedalHeads Cycles Brendale out for an early morning jaunt. First stop Blackbutt Bakery before they headed off on the BVRT 🚵🏻♀️🚵🏽☕️
A great view of the trail 🚵🏻♀️🚵🏽
3 days, 167km, 1 mechanical failure, and approx. 17hrs saddle time. Night 2 was spent at the Esk Grand Hotel, a great place, where we had plenty of bevvies and a good feed. The last day was always going to be the hardest, we just thought we'd add the extra challenge of waking up a little underdone. It wasn't easy, but it super enjoyable. We can't recommend riding the BVRT enough, and let Out There Cycling get you there. Good times all round... (*pretty glad to be home though 😁) ... See more
Detailed information about the Stock Route between Kingaroy and Nanango
Lots of people have been asking for a map of The Link. One is being prepared, but until it arrives here's the signposted route that connects the BVRT at Yarraman to the SBRT at Kingaroy (thank you to David Kenny for supplying this information): **Yarraman to Nanango** - Start at the Noora Rd/Barr St intersection - Din Din Rd - follow old Stock Route - Old Yarraman Rd - Burnett St - turn left into Mill Flat Rd (incorrectly called King St on Google) - turn right into Pioneer Park laneway and up to Nanango railway siding **Nanango to Kingaroy** - Pioneer Park - Alfred St - Cairns St - Brooklands-Nanango Rd - Kunioon Rd - Semgreens Rd - Lucas Rd - West Coolabunia Rd - Edenvale South Rd - take a left turn (not that clear on Google maps) - Geoff Raph Dve - Warren Truss Dve (sometimes called Airport Dve) - Kingaroy-Cooyar Rd - Industrial Ave - Kingaroy St - Rae St - turn left into Railway Tce - on to median strip parallel to Railway Tce and D’Aguilar Highway which was once the old railway line - Alford St East - Jarrah St - Haly Street to O'Neill Square (where the SBRT starts). ...
