More of Wayne’s adventures in the yellow jersey and a few outback signs to make you laugh 😂
Here's a very quick update on my progress. I'm sorry this will be brief as internet is patchy. I will post more when I return to civilisation. I've ridden 500 km and arrived at Jervois Station. The going has been TOUGH. I've battled heavy headwinds, fought flies, swallowed sand, caught corrugation craziness, barged through bull dust and camped cold. In summary I'm having a ball. Yes all the above is true but there's something about a campfire under a sparkling sky and reflecting on the events, achievement and good people of the day which provide the motivation to mount the next mound. Upon arrival at Jervois Station I was met by my new friends Scout and Ben. Scout knew I was coming as heaps of people who stopped said a crazy fool on a bicycle was headed this way. I had the honour of being invited for dinner with them and enjoyed Desert Beef. Ben pre-warned me it was camel and it was delicious. After a rest day (of repairs and washing, thank you again Scout) I'm back on the road again today. I'll post again when reception is better. ... See more

Please allow the process to move forward and look forward to seeing the end result. ... See more
